1955-2019

David Layden

  David Allen Layden, 63, of Goshen passed away on Thursday, May 30th, 2019.

  Dave was born on August 25, 1955 and was the son of Velma (McCormac) Layden and the late Harold Layden who passed away in 2011.

   Dave will be lovingly remembered by his mother Velma; three daughters Tanya (Dana Black), Lindsey (Harold Dalling) and Ashley; special friend Linda Sprague; special nieces Kaitlyn and Jade; grandchildren Jesse, Ty, Madison, Dylan, Ryder, Jillian, Justine and Mitch; great-grandchildren Jaxx, Denver, Oaklyn and Monique;  brother Rick of Goshen; sisters Linda Taylor (Eric) of Pollett River, Eileen Stapleford (Rick) of Wards Creek, Teresa Layden of Hampton and Karen Layden (Barry) of Grande Prairie, AB; sister-in-law Marlene Layden; aunts Lorraine Vincent (Rod), Mary Thorne, Glenna MacCormac and his uncle Don (Pat); several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Dave was predeceased by his father Harold; his brother Gerald in 1997; sister Lorraine in 2003 and uncle Stuart Thorne.

   Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac (756-3361) with visiting Wednesday, June 5 from 6 to 8 pm.  The funeral will be held Thursday, June 6, 11:30 am at the Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Goshen with Father Charles Broderick officiating. Interment at Church of the Precious Blood Cemetery at a later date.

   Donations in Dave’s memory can be made to The NB Lung foundation or the charity of your choice.
