Elsbeth Wallace Stiles

   Elsbeth Wallace Stiles, 93, of The Jordan Lifecare Centre, formerly of Petitcodiac passed away peacefully at The Jordan Lifecare Centre on Thursday, September 13, 2018, with her family by her side. Born in Waterford, Kings Co., to the late Stanley and Alice (Wallace) Hall, she was the widow of Ralph Stiles.

   Elsbeth spent her early working life as a legal and insurance secretary, before becoming a loving homemaker raising her family of three. Later in life, Elsbeth became a clerk and counselor for the Village of Petitcodiac. She was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #41 Ladies Auxiliary and the Eastern Star, Regina Chapter #39. She was a fifty year member of the St. James United Church and a member of the UCW of the church. She enjoyed bingo outings with her friends, loved animals, especially her cats and dogs, and was happiest spending time with her family and keeping up on her grandchildren’s accomplishments. 

   Survived and sadly missed by her daughter, Melanie Lutes; sons, Wallis (Joan) and Gerald (Giselle); grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, Shawna, Stefanie, Robyn, Kyra, Melissa, Kale and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Hannah, Camden, Lena, Elliott, Shyla, Dawson, Alden, Louie, Brady and Brooks.

   In addition to her parents and husband, Elsbeth was predeceased by a daughter in-law, Judith.

   Resting at Armstrong’s Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac (756–3361) from where visitation will take place on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2 - 5 pm with the Royal Canadian Legion holding a tribute service at 1:45 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the St. James United Church, Petitcodiac on Tuesday, September 18 at 1 pm with Rev. Stephen Brown officiating. Interment in Maplewood Cemetery.

   If desired, memorials to Friends of the Jordan Lifecare Centre or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
