Earl E. Carson
1930-2018
Earl E. Carson passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Born December 8, 1930 in Havelock, NB he was the son of the late E. Arnold and Luella (Sears) Carson.
He retired from Day & Ross Inc. after 28 years of service. He was a member of Harmony Lodge #20 F & AM and also past president of the Havelock Lions Club. He loved the outdoors and gardening.
Earl is survived by his loving wife and best friend Karen (Hicks) Carson; mother-in-law, Myrna Hicks, brothers and sisters in-law, Rodney Hicks (late Mabel), Sheila Greer (Donnie), Sandra Hicks, Kevin Hicks (Sherri), Carol Alward (Lloyd), Boyd Hicks (Esther), Brenda Hicks, Dana Hicks (Shelley), Lois Brewer (Derek), Stanley Hicks (Shelley), Graham Hicks, Susan Hicks, Shelley Arsenault (Tyler); and many cousins, including special cousin, Myra Seeley.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his first wife, Marion (Hillman) Carson; father-in-law, Gordon Hicks and brother-in-law, Lyle (Pat) Hicks.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) from where visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 6 - 8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11 am at the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Parks officiating. Interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
If desired, memorials to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
