Ralph Henry MacDonald, 68, of Salisbury, NB passed away Thursday, April 19th 2018 at the Moncton Hospital with family at his side.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Henry and Doreen (Greer) MacDonald. Ralph was a graduate of Salisbury Regional High School and retired from Bell Aliant with over 37 years of service.
He enjoyed life to the fullest whether it was four wheeling, spending time at his camp, hunting, going to the cottage, golfing, curling, boating or riding his motor cycle. Along the way he made some lifelong friends whom he cherished immensely.
He is survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife Muriel; children Paula MacDonald (Robert) of Dieppe and Anthony MacDonald (Jody) of Burton; step-children Kim Oakley (Bob) of Edmonton and Karen Elliott (Pat) of Salisbury; sister Mary Allen (Kenneth) of Salisbury; brothers David (Rhea) of Winnipeg, Robert (Vanessa) of Salisbury and Doug (Jen) of Quispamsis; grandchildren Anthony, Jenna, Ty, Kristen and Kathryn; great grandchildren Avery, Jaxson and Paisley and all his nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by Muriel’s family.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, April 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday, April 23rd at 11 am with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating. Interment at Fair Haven Cemetery.
