Lilia Bruneau

Lilia Beatrice Bruneau, 71, of Moncton passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in River Glade, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Ella Smith.  Lilia attended the former River Glade Baptist Church and was formerly employed at the Dollarama Store. She enjoyed playing cards and games, fishing and going to yard sales with her husband and siblings. Lilia also loved family gatherings and at the age of 50 she proudly received her GED.

  She is survived by her son Dale (Teresa) of ON; granddaughters Sherry, Melanie and Nicole; grandsons Dale Jr., Ryan and Rylee; great grandchildren Josephine and Connor; sisters Thelma, Betty, Carol, Susan (Elton); brothers Henry (Jean), Robert (Melba) and Mike (Sharon); sister-in-law Linda and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by husband Albert; brothers Phil and Bruice and brothers-in-law Jack, Bill and Bob.

  There is no formal service by personal request. A family gathering will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800).

  If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
