Richard Chapman

  Richard Coates Chapman, 83, of Anagance passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital with family by his side following a brief illness.

  Born in Chapman Settlement, N.S. he was the son of the late Logan and Florence (Black) Chapman. He worked in Moncton at McKays Dairy and retired from Co-op Dairy. He then started his own welding business and spent time working in his woodlots with his tractor. He enjoyed bluegrass music outings, camping, going for drives in the country and dropping into McDonalds for his coffee and muffin.

  Survived by his son Dean (Paulette) of Anagance; daughters Sandra Chapman of Moncton, Linda Hatt (Kevin) of Pennfield; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two nieces, a nephew and several cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Ladonna; sister Esther Greeno and two nephews.

  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1 to 4 pm. Interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
