Robert "Rob" Fleming
1948-2017
Robert (Rob) Donald Fleming, 68, of Colpitts Settlement passed away peacefully with his family by his side, after a brief illness, at the Moncton Hospital on November 28th, 2017.
Born in Montreal to Ruth (Stewart) Fleming and the late Dr. Paul Fleming, he worked as an Air Traffic Controller for Nav Canada for 28 years. Rob was a family man caring for everyone especially his wife in her illness, and over the years was a friend to many pets.
He will be sadly missed by his mother Ruth of Halifax, son Chris of St. John's, daughter Angela (Doug) Howatt of Petitcodiac, grandson Nicholas, 3 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, brothers John of Halifax, and Charlie of Amherst. Rob was predeceased by his wife Karen, brother David and his father Paul.
A Celebration of Rob's life will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell St., Petitcodiac (756-3361) on Thursday, November 30 at 2pm.
Memorials to the Moncton SPCA of a charity of the donors choosing would be appreciated by the family.
