Lorne "Skip" Garnett
1960-2017
Lorne B. Garnett "Skip" of Harcourt, NB passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 57. Born on January 31, 1960 in Saint John, NB, Lorne was the son of Percy and Mary (Yascyszak) Garnett.
Skip enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his friends. For many years Skip was emplyed in the forest industry as a silviculture technician.
In addition to his father, Skip will be sadly missed by his daughters, Amanda, Ashley, Jessica and Mary Ann; sisters, Deborah Garnett of Salisbury, NB, Kathy MacLeod (Jim) of Salisbury, NB, and Kristine McLean of British Columbia; brothers, Lloyd Garnett (Mary) of Havelock, NB and Jeff Garnett of Sussex, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his mother, Mary Garnett.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Adams for the excellent care he provided at the Moncton hospital as well as the nurses for their kindness and understanding.
The family will receive friends and family at Armstrongs Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell St, Petitcodiac, NB (506-372-4800) on Sunday, November 26 from 3pm - 5pm. There will be no service as per families request.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, or a charity of the donor's choice, and would be appreciated by the family.
