Elva Lillian Ayles

  Elva Lillian Ayles, 91, of Colpitts Settlement passed away Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in Colpitts Settlement to the late Joseph and Elsie (Steeves) Oulton, she was the owner and operator of Elva's Store in Little River where for many years she enjoyed interacting with her customers and meeting with friends, she was a member of the Nixon Baptist Church and in her early years Elva taught school. 

  Elva is survived by a number of cousins, nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companion Zena.  She was predeceased by her husband Ora.

  Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home 3350 Rte 106 (372-4800) with visitation starting at 12:30 through until the service starting at 2pm on Thursday, October 12th with Pastor Paul Leger officiating.  Interment to follow at the Nixon Cemetery.

  Memorials to the Nixon Cemetery or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
