Edith Woodman

  It’s with sadness that the family announce that Edith Olivia Woodman, 91, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Monday, June 5, 2017.

  Born in Scotch Settlement to the late Horace & Mary Mabel (MacGregor) Murray.  Edith retired from NBTel in 1982 after 34 years of employment.  She was a member of the Telephone Workers Pioneers and Valley Baptist Church.   She enjoyed gardening and  caring for her family.

  She will be sadly missed by her children Gale Maiden (David), Moncton, George, Moncton, Audrey Gillespie (Richard) St. John; three step sons Lawrence Woodman, Miramichi, Richard Woodman, Calgary, Norman Woodman, Ontario; and son-in-law Wornick Price, Salisbury & eight grandchildren & six great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Marjorie Price, infant son Gary; brothers William & Horace; stepsons Gordon Jr. & Donald Woodman; and husband Gordon.

  Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800), where visiting will take place from 10am until the service at 11am on Friday, June 9th, 2017 with a reception to follow. Interment will be in the Fairhaven Cemetery at 1 PM.
