Dian Goddard

  Elizabeth Dian Goddard, 73, of Petitcodiac passed away at the Jordan Life Care Centre Sunday, June 4, 2017.

  Born in Petitcodiac, she was the youngest daughter of the late Ronald and Irene (Lutes) Prosser.  Dian was the retired owner/operator of the Grandma's Place Daycare in Petitcodiac for over thirty years and taught her granddaughters their great love for children.  Many of the children that she cared for, recently have cared for her at the Jordan Life Care Centre.  She cared for many children in her home through the Foster Care Program. Dian was a passionate Tupperware demonstrator for many years.  She was a member of the Petitcodiac Womens Institute, the Petitcodiac Baptist Church and a former Sunday School superintendant.  She loved going to yardsales with her friends, doing puzzles, and long phone conversations with her friends.

  She is survived and sadly missed by her children Cathy Dunham (Ricky), Petitcodiac and Kevin (Rose), Salisbury; chosen children Andy Rowan and Susan Porter; grandchildren Josh Dunham, Amy McEvoy (Josh), Sheena Morgan (P.J.) and Nicholas Goddard (Jenna); great grandchildren Logan, Lola, Cash, Zayne, Laurel and Ryver; sisters Mable Smith (Art) and Sandra Young (Austin); brother Gerry Prosser (Debbie); sister-in-law Marilyn Prosser; the father of her children Alan Goddard and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her brothers Robert Prosser (Doreen) and Edward and sister Marion Hicks (Herb).

  Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell Street (756-3361) visiting will be Tuesday, June 6 from 6 to 9 pm.  The funeral will be held at the Petitcodiac Baptist Church Wednesday, June 7 at 1 pm with Rev. David Woodworth officiating.  Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.

  If desired, memorials to the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, the Jordan Life Care Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
