Mabel Mae Hicks

  Mabel Mae Hicks, 58, of Hicks Settlement Saturday, passed away June 3, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.

  A beloved wife, loving mother and cherished Nanny she will be greatly missed by husband of 39 years, Rodney; children Ray, Robert (Amalia), Ryan (Lindsey), Robin, all of Hicks Settlement, Cathy Hicks, Moncton, Kelsey Hicks (Pavel), Cocagne; Grandchildren, Ethan, Elizabeth, Andrei, Rodney, Aiden, Samuel; Mother-in-Law Myrna Hicks, Moncton, Aunts, Uncles and cousins in the Parlee family as well as brothers and sisters-in-law of the Hicks family.  Mabel was predeceased by daughter Kimberly.

  For many years Mabel managed tree planting crews in the local area.  She enjoyed crafts, Christmas wreaths, making chocolate and caring for her family. 

  Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800), with visitation taking place Tuesday, June 6, 2017 5-8pm and from where the funeral will be taking place in the Chapel, Wednesday, June 7th at 3pm., Rev. Kevin Hicks officiating.  Interment will be in the Havelock Wesleyan Cemetery.
