Audrey York
1927-2017
The passing of Audrey Catherine York of Petitcodiac occurred on May 16, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on February 15, 1927 in Bristol, NB, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jessie (Pointing) Estabrooks.
Sixty-seven years ago Audrey had a personal experience with Christ and has since been a devoted Christian. From then on, her mission has been to share that experience with others. The only thing that exceeded that was her faithful prayer life. Audrey and Clarence were among the developing members and active at Faith Assembly in Moncton for the past 40 years.
Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Clarence (Bud) York of Petitcodiac NB, nephew (chosen son) Gregg Hunt (Bonita) of Fredericton, niece Holly Sullivan (Derek), nephew Travis Hunt, and many other nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Robert Estabrooks & Russell Estabrooks and sister Marguerite Hunt.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rt. 106 Salisbury (372-4800) with visiting Thursday May 18 from 6-8 p.m.. The funeral will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.
