Ina Wilbur
1926-2017
Ina Mae Wilbur, 90, of the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Wheaton Mills, she was a daughter of the late Winfred and Harriet (Matthews) Hicks. Ina was a graduate of Petitcodiac Regional High School and was retired from the No. 5 Supply Depot for the Dept of Defense. She was a charter member of Riverview Baptist Church, a member of the WMS and was active in the choir. In her later years Ina attended First North River Baptist Church and the Over 50 Seniors Club. She was most happy spending time with her family and camping.
She is survived and sadly missed by her daughter Janice Wilkins (Mark), Ontario and son Walter Mitton (Aurore), Wheaton Settlement; sisters Edna Lounsbury (late Clinton) and Norma Bleakney (late Royden); grandchildren Lisa Norden, Jeffery Mitton, Andrew Mitton, Christopher Mitton and Kim Langen; step-grandchildren Nicole Munns and Julian Wilkins; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husbands Ernest Mitton, Arthur Prosser and Wesley Wilbur and brother Ralph Hicks.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) visiting will be Friday, April 28 from 6 to 8 pm. The service will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday, April 29 at 11 am with Rev. Wayne Hagerman officiating. Interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
