Gertrude Jane Wilson

 With great sadness the family of Gertrude Jane Wilson, 78, of the Jordan Lifecare Center and formerly Salisbury announce her passing, Tuesday March 14, 2017 at the Center surrounded by her loving family.

   Born in Moncton  March 22, 1938 she was a daughter of the late George and Lillie (Nelson) Martin. Gertrude retired from the Jordan Lifecare Center and in her earlier years worked at Eaton's and was a stay at home Mom. Before dementia took away her zest for life she enjoyed reading ,cards, music and spending time with her family.

   Survived and sadly missed by her children Douglas (Nadine), Michael (Sherri), Lisa Murphy (Sean) and Vicki Obichere (Kelvin) all of Salisbury and Susan Mills (Larry) of Petitcodiac. She will also be truly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and her much loved brother Stewart Martin (Sandy) of Ontario and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband John, sisters Geraldine Steeves, Linda Weber and brothers Ralph and Robert Martin.

   Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rt 106 Salisbury with visiting  Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Saturday March 18 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Nancy Sprague officiating. Interment at the Lewis Mountain Cemetery at a later date.

   If desired memorials to the Friends of the Jordan Lifecare Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

 The family wish to express sincere appreciation to Staff and friends at the Jordan Lifecare Center for the excellent care our mother received.
