Myrna G. Steeves

Myrna Gail Steeves,78, of Salisbury passed away Saturday February 11, 2017 at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Fergus ON., she was a daughter of the late W. Ernest and Wilma (McLean) Plant. Myrna worked along with her late husband Douglas in their home heating business and was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church and a Lifetime member of the former Salisbury Lioness Club.

   Survived and sadly missed by her children; Kelly Donnelly (Todd) of Salisbury, Kathy Donnelly (Scott)  and Kevin (Melinda) of Moncton and Kent (Diane) of Upper Coverdale; grandchildren William, Victoria, Lindsay, Scott, Kaitlyn, Amanda and Matthew; step grandchildren Adam, Lyndsay and Nathan and many great grandchildren. Survived also by a brother Robert Plant (Yvonne) of Blind River ON., a close sister and brother in law Betty and Robert Prosser of Salisbury, sister in law Faye Onuluk (Stephen) and brother in law Roger Steeves (Judy) and by several nieces and nephews including a special niece Sharon and her cannine companion Murphy. Predeceased by her husband of 44 years Douglas and sister in law Ruby Plant.

   Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Wednesday February 15 from 12 noon until funeral at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Tim McKinnon officiating. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date.

  Memorials if desired to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
