Lois O'Brien
1933-2016
Lois Evelyn O'Brien, 83, of Salisbury passed away peacefully with her family at her side, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Greenpark Drive, Riverview.
Born in Truro, NS, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Ambrosine (McDuff) Langley. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church, Truro and she attended the Salisbury United Church. Lois was a former foster parent, was happiest surrounded with family and enjoying nature.
She is survived and sadly missed by her daughters Dawn Seely (Jack), Salisbury,Tanya Fortin, Salisbury and Pamela O'Brien (Daniel Primeau), Riverview; sons Billy (Debbie), Elmsdale, NS and Lee (Doc) (Darcey), Salisbury; daughter-in-law Anita O'Brien, Lewis Mountain; beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Brian Langley, South Dakota and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Richard; son Rick;great granddaughter Jenika and sister Estelle Fleming.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, November 29 from 12 noon until funeral at 2 pm. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery.
If desired, memorial to the SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
