Philip Vincent (Vinnie) O'Neill

Philip Vincent (Vinnie) O'Neill, 76, of Salisbury passed away peacefully Saturday, August 6, 2016 with family at his side.

  Born in Petersville, he was the son of the late Frederick and Lenora (Brown) O'Neill. Philip worked for CNR for over 30 years and enjoyed golfing, camping and time spent with his family.

  Survived and sadly missed by his wife of almost 53 years, Sandra (Robb); children Cheryl O'Neill (Eugene Geldart) of Salisbury, Janet Smith (Craig) of Salisbury, Tracy O'Neill of Salisbury, and Rodney O'Neill of Salisbury; grandchildren Adam Sanchez (Alyssa), Vanessa Sanchez (Julio Candela), Melissa Smith, Michael Smith, and Kayla O'Neill (Brent Jackett); great grand daughter Chloe; siblings Rose Yuill (Jack) of Texas, Anna Wilson (Scottie) of B.C., Chris Boyd of Moncton, Cecilia Ballard of Alberta, Robert O'Neill of River Glade. Predeceased by sister Teresa O'Neill and brother-in-law Reid Boyd.

   Family and friends are invited to gather after 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 9 at Grady's Pub Salisbury for sharing of memories. A private Celebration of Life will also be held. Interment will be at the Glades Baptist Cemetery. 

   If so desired, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800) are in care of the arrangements.
