Charles Quinlan
1946-2016
Charles (Charlie) Gilbert Quinlan, 70, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Stoney Island, NS, he was a son of Betty (Ross) Quinlan and the late Leslie Quinlan. Charlie retired from Atlantic Canvas Textiles as a supervisor and was an avid racecar fan and former local competitor #9 Sportsman, enjoyed time spent at the camp, hunting, fishing, and driving country roads.
Survived and sadly missed by his mother Betty; his wife Shirley; children Peggy Reeder, Moncton, Christina Taylor, River Glade, Ann-Marie Taylor (Paul), River Glade, Gordon Geldart (Joyce), Stony Plain, AB, Linda Krieg (Jeff) of Saskatoon, Terry Geldart (Alison), Riverview; brothers Gary, River Glade, Brian (Mary), Gallagher Ridge, and by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Cathy Quinlan.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Wednesday, July 6, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
If desired, memorials to the I.W.K. Children's Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
