William 'Billy' Cochran
1958-2016
William Gerald (Billy) Cochran, 57, of Boundary Creek passed away Saturday, February 6 at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Gerald and Glenna (Constantine) Cochran. Billy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, a loyal friend, and a helpful neighbour. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his love of football, golfing, UNB hockey, and anything to do with the great outdoors-snowmobiling, four-wheeling and fishing. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Elgin socializing with friends and family.
Survived by his beloved wife Joan (Reilly); sons Matt of Boundary Creek and Mike (Ashley) of Salisbury; cherished grandchildren Jacob and Audrey; brother Stephen (Cindy) of Second North River; sisters Susan Eagles (Tony) of Goose Bay, Labrador and Lori Leaman (Kevin) of Dieppe; sisters-in-law Cathy, Jeannie and Brenda and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, February 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held in the Chapel Wednesday, February 10 at 11 am with Rev. Danny Compton officiating. Interment at Lewis Mountain Cemetery at a later date.
In memory of Billy, donations to the War Amps New Brunswick or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
