T. Marie Prosser
1923-2015
(Thelma) Marie Prosser, 91, of the Jordan Life Care Centre and formerly of Salisbury passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at her residence.
Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Ada (McLean) Lawson. Upon graduation from high school, Marie taught at Pokiok School for two years. She also taught at Bethel Bible School, and worked side by side with her husband in the pastoral ministry.
She is survived by sister-in-law Beulah Lawson; special friend Tina Smith and her family Jeffrey, Jacob and Beth as well as several nieces and nephews. Marie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeased by her husband Calvin; brother Charles Lawson and foster brothers George Sr. (Helen) Leffley, Wendall Lawson and Donald Irving.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, September 29 from 1 pm until time of funeral at 2 pm with Rev. Luke Weaver officiating. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
