Joyce Jones

  (Marilyn) Joyce Jones, 61, of Moncton and formerly Intervale passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in Clinton, ON, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Blanche (Wilson) Johnston.  Joyce was a graduate of A.B. Lucas High School in London, ON and A.J. MacMaster School of Nursing, Moncton.  She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Moncton Hospital until retirement.

  Survived by her stepsons Stephen Sherwood of Smithers, BC and Darrin (Kelly) Sherwood of Salisbury,  their children Charley, Kaylen and Lee; sisters Flora Beatty of Riverview, Ardith Blanchard of Weldon and Muriel Tingley of Edgetts Landing and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by companion Lee Sherwood; brother Lynden Johnston and sister Linda Nealey.

  The Funeral will be held at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) Sunday, September 27 at 3 pm with Pastor Robb Hunt officiating.  Interment at First North River Cemetery.
