Richard O'Brien
1952-2015
Richard Theodore O'Brien, 62, of Lewis Mountain passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his home.
Born in Truro, he was the son of Lois (Langley) O'Brien and the late Richard O'Brien. Rick was a carpenter and his many hobbies were hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, entertaining his friends and playing music, and he loved spending time with his family. He was known as the "Lewis Mountain Camp Mayor".
Survived and sadly missed by his wife Anita; daughter Carrie Colpitts and son Chris Colpitts both of Lewis Mountain; grandchildren Kayla O'Neill (Brent Jackett) and Jim Killam; great granddaughter Chloe Jackett; mother Lois O'Brien of Salisbury; sisters Dawn Seely (Jack), Tanya Fortin (Rejean) both of Salisbury and Pamela Coons (Daniel Primeau) of Ottawa; brothers Billy (Debbie) of NS and Lee (Doc) (Darcey) of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, August 30 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Monday, August 31 at 1 pm officiated by Steve MacDonald. Reception to follow at the Salisbury Legion.
