Arnold Killam

  Arnold Kenneth Killam, 89, of Kenneth E. Spencer Home and formerly of Salisbury passed away Thursday, August 20 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his family.

  Born in Harewood, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Florence (Gould) Killam.  Arnold was retired from Trucking & Construction with Murray's Woodlands.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most important was time spent with his family.

  Survived and missed by his wife of 68 years Beatrice (Burgess); four daughters Diana McKnight (Gary) of Mannhurst, Audrey Perry (Peter) of Salisbury, Patricia Colpitts (Gordon Fagan) of Riverview and Marie Carson (Bradley) of Middlesex; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and step grandchildren.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws.  Predeceased by brothers John and James and sisters Alta Beck, Beatrice Power, Freda Morrow and Ellen Fall.  Arnold was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

  Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Monday, August 24 from 6 - 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Tuesday, August 25 at 11 am with Pastor Dale Carson officiating.  Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.
