Lynn Pickett

 

  Lynn Valerie Pickett, 65, of Cherryvale passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at home.

  Born in Minto, Lynn was the daughter of Agnes Gallant and the late William Richard.  Survived by her sons Roger (Sandy) of Petitcodiac and Matthew of Jemseg; granddaughter Tara Byrne (Chris) of Five Points; brother Terry Richard of Havelock; sister Brenda DeMerchant of Woodstock and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by her husband Robert Pickett and longtime companion Nova Corey.

  Lynn had a great passion for gardening and loved the outdoors.  She was a very caring, loving person to family and others and just loved helping people.  She will be sadly missed by her best friend Carol and the Chestnut family.  Special thanks to Rilla and all the great neighbours in the community of Cherryvale.

  The service will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2 pm at New Canaan Baptist Church with Pastor Dave McPherson officiating.  Interment at New Canaan Cemetery.

  Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).

  If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family or flowers, that's what she loved.
